We can give you thermal suit for your comfort. Our thermal suits are comfortable even in -30°C degrees, but usually it's pretty warm when we hike up.

This is an adventure for wanderers, who love to enjoy the pure nature. On our easy hike you will have opportunity to discover norwegian nature from different perspective. Normal level of fitness is enough, you do not need previous experience or special equipment besides proper shoes.
On the day of the tour we will pick you up in front of Scandic Ishavshotel and drive to the spectacular island Kvaløya. After short introduction we will slowly start our hike. Don't be afraid, it's not Mount Everest. Elevation is around 200 meters, but it's enough to witness the beauty of norwegian fjords. The route covers approximately 3 kilometers round trip and is suitable for the average person. However, it's essential to be in good physical condition. We prioritize safety by considering avalanche risk, snow conditions, and your ability to navigate snowy terrain. Our guide may adjust the route to ensure it's manageable for your group. It's all about embracing the adventure in the snow! Along the way, we'll take breaks to appreciate the surroundings and enjoy some hot chocolate and sweet snacks at the summit. With a bit of luck, we may even spot some wildlife, such as reindeers, white-tailed eagles, seals, or moose.
We highly value your safety, in case of tough weather conditions, we will offer you a chance to postpone for another day (if available) or switch to our roadtrip Discover the Fjords.
